OKAY!! OKAY!! I know I've said it a couple times before, at a couple other NYC Mexican eateries, but truly, my wife and I, HANDS DOWN rank this taqueria as thee BEST and truly as authentic as Mexican food can get outside my abuelita's home!! You must try their quesadilla; wrapped in a tortilla de mais (which is made FROM SCRATCH), it was the take home winner! Their al pastor was very savory, and the chips were fresh, and made from true tortillas!! Their salsa was oh so good!! For all you that love salsa, but are weary of super spicy, take your time with their green salsa! Truly the best of their options, but to the untrained tongue, it can be overwhelming! Thank you again mi abuelita for all the salsa you fed me as a child! Vanessa (hope I got her name right), the host, server and cook was amazing, friendly (always with a smile and very accommodating) and kept up with the rush of people like I've never seen! As for the dining area, it's what you would expect at a local taqueria; we felt at home! Lastly, this place is SO good we texted my in-laws back in CA before leaving, to tell them that when in town, we're coming here!!

Solid breakfast burritos with different options to choose from. Massive size, good flavor, good service and better choices than the neighborhood and willing to make substitutions. Will return :)
The enchiladas with chicken and mole were bussin', service was phenomenal, cash-only but gotta support local businesses amiright? Breaded chicken torta hit the spot with a jarritos. Coming back next time I come back thriftin' with my crunch granola.
Great family-owned restaurant! Got the carne asada burrito and it was super filling. I'd go here again if I needed a quick bite to go.

Great tacos for $3!!! I was starving after an appointment in the neighborhood and this was one of the only places open for lunch. I walked in to find the "cash only" sign and almost got discouraged. But when I looked at the menu prices, I realized I had enough on me to buy two tacos, which is my usual limit. I ordered the carnitas and the carne asada tacos. My order came to under $7 with tax. Both were delicious, but the carnitas was my favorite. Not the best tacos I've ever had, but they were pretty high up there, hence the 4 star rating. I feel like people get very passionate about tacos, so I wanted to be clear. Lol Happy I found this place and would come back.
This place is delicious. My friend and I ordered salsa (they have red and green!) and chips, which was great and the chips were freshly fried. They have Modelo on tap and we got spicy micheladas, which were great and huge. We also split a carnitas burrito (the one covered w amazing red sauce, sour cream and guac) , an assortment of tacos, and a steak quesadilla. Needless to say, we took food home. Everything was great, can't wait to go back. CASH ONLY.
